Culinary Crossroads: Las Vegas Food Tour with 9 Tastings

3 hours

Easy

Eat your way around the world on a 3-hour Las Vegas Strip food tour with 9 tastings, from Italian-American family recipes to unexpected global flavors—plus the larger-than-life history, culture, and reinvention that made Vegas legendary.
Vegas is just the beginning.

Come blaze a trail around the world, mouth first, on a 3-hour Las Vegas Strip walking food tour that combines 9 delicious tastings with the history, culture, characters, and wonderfully over-the-top stories of the city that shouldn't exist in the middle of the Mojave Desert.

And this is definitely not a “follow the celebrity chefs and call it a day” kind of Vegas food tour.

On your journey, you'll taste your way through the surprisingly global world of the Las Vegas Strip—from Italian-American family recipes and Cuban favorites to Hawaiian treats, Eastern Mediterranean flavors, and one legendary sweet finale.

Along the way, we'll explore how food, people, ideas, and even entire cities travel, change, collide, and become something new. Because Las Vegas has always had a particular talent for taking something from somewhere else and turning it into something unmistakably Vegas.

But food is only our way in.

As we make our way down The Strip, we'll step inside some of its most iconic resorts and uncover the rivalries, reinventions, big personalities, and bigger gambles that transformed a dusty stretch of desert into one of the world's most famous destinations. We'll wander alongside Venetian canals and beneath painted Roman skies, meet a few flamingos, discover why the Las Vegas Strip isn't actually in Las Vegas, and explore how this city has spent generations bringing the rest of the world to the desert.

And because this is Vegas, the food and the city are constantly talking to each other. Family recipes become part of a celebrity chef's empire. A Hawaiian cookie opens up the story of Vegas's “Ninth Island.” Mediterranean traditions are reimagined by one of the world's most celebrated chefs. And a pastry born in France, reinvented in New York, and served in Las Vegas becomes the perfect final bite.

You won't just eat your way around the world. You'll understand a little more about how Las Vegas brought the world to the desert.

Expect approximately 3 hours of walking, 9 food tastings, plenty of Vegas history, a few larger-than-life characters, and a guide who wants you to feel less like you're on a tour and more like you just made a very knowledgeable local friend.

Come hungry. Leave a Tasteblazer.
